Pull MTD changes from David Woodhouse:
- Artem's cleanup of the MTD API continues apace.
- Fixes and improvements for ST FSMC and SuperH FLCTL NAND, amongst
others.
- More work on DiskOnChip G3, new driver for DiskOnChip G4.
- Clean up debug/warning printks in JFFS2 to use pr_.Fix up various trivial conflicts, largely due to changes in calling
conventions for things like dmaengine_prep_slave_sg() (new inline
wrapper to hide new parameter, clashing with rewrite of previously last
parameter that used to be an 'append' flag, and is now a bitmap of

Initialization of 'erase_info->fail_addr' to MTD_FAIL_ADDR_UNKNOWN prior
erase operation is duplicated accross several MTD drivers, and also taken
care of by some MTD users as well.Harmonize it: initialize 'fail_addr' within 'mtd_erase()' interface.

D1 and D2 macros are mostly uses to emit debugging messages.
Convert the logging uses of D1 & D2 to jffs2_dbg(level, fmt, ...)
to be a bit more consistent style with the rest of the kernel.All jffs2_dbg output is now at KERN_DEBUG where some of

There were a few instances of the old MTD interface remaining for JFFS2. We
fix one error that shows up (only when CONFIG_JFFS2_FS_WRITEBUFFER is not
defined) like this:fs/jffs2/read.c: In function 'jffs2_read_dnode':
fs/jffs2/read.c:36:8: error: 'struct mtd_info' has no member named 'read'
fs/jffs2/read.c:112:8: error: 'struct mtd_info' has no member named 'read'
...We also simply remove two macros that are not in use, were not updated to
the new MTD interface, and don't even utilize the old interface properly.
(That means they weren't used since commit 8593fbc6, year 2006; almost 6

This patch makes the 'mtd_writev()' function more usable and logical. We first
teach it to fall-back to the 'default_mtd_writev()' function if the MTD driver
does not define its own '->writev()' method. Then we make block2mtd and JFFS2
just 'mtd_writev()' instead of 'default_mtd_writev()' function. This means we
can now stop exporting 'default_mtd_writev()' and instead, export
'mtd_writev()'. This is much cleaner and more logical, as well as allows us to

This patch is part of a patch-set which changes the MTD interface
from 'mtd->func()' form to 'mtd_func()' form. We need this because
we want to add common code to to all drivers in the mtd core level,
which is impossible with the current interface when MTD clients
call driver functions like 'read()' or 'write()' directly.At this point we just introduce a new inline wrapper function, but
later some of them are expected to gain more code. E.g., the input
parameters check should be moved to the wrappers rather than be
duplicated at many drivers.This particular patch introduced the 'mtd_erase()' interface. The

(fs: protect inode->i_state with inode->i_lock), insert_inode_locked()
no longer returns the inode with I_NEW set on failure. However,
the error handler still calls unlock_new_inode() on failure,
which does a WARN_ON if I_NEW is not set, so any failure spews
a lot of warnings.We can just drop the unlock_new_inode() if insert_inode_locked()

mode argument; switching it to umode_t is obviously equivalent

Seeing that just about every destructor got that INIT_LIST_HEAD() copied into
it, there is no point whatsoever keeping this INIT_LIST_HEAD in inode_init_once();
the cost of taking it into inode_init_always() will be negligible for pipes
and sockets and negative for everything else. Not to mention the removal of
