We need to include pcm_local.h to clean up some smatch warnings:
symbol 'snd_pcm_timer_done' was not declared. Should it be static?
symbol 'snd_pcm_timer_init' was not declared. Should it be static?
symbol 'snd_pcm_timer_resolution_change' was not declared. Should
it be static? Also remove some extraneous tabs on empty lines and replace space

Use dev_err() & co as much as possible. If not available (no device
assigned at the calling point), use pr_xxx() helpers instead. For simplicity, introduce new helpers for pcm stream, pcm_err(), etc.

The timer callbacks are called in the protected status by the lock
of the timer instance, so there is no need for an extra lock in the
PCM substream.Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai

This header file exists only for some hacks to adapt alsa-driver
tree. It's useless for building in the kernel. Let's move a few
lines in it to sound/core.h and remove it.
With this patch, sound/driver.h isn't removed but has just a single
compile warning to include it. This should be really killed in
future.Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai
