All options have been moved to Kconfig and there is no need to have
board header files. Mini configurations require them that's why they are

Replace SDHCI controller listing by Kconfig symbol to let SPL know that
this board is using multiple SDHCIs controllers.
Kconfig help message should explain why this is needed.
Origin symbols were used in full u-boot but with moving to distro boot

Now that new SPI NOR layer uses stateless 4 byte opcodes by default,
don't enable SPI_FLASH_BAR. For SPI controllers that cannot support
4-byte addressing, (stm32_qspi.c, fsl_qspi.c, mtk_qspi.c, ich.c,
renesas_rpc_spi.c) add an imply clause to enable SPI_FLASH_BAR so as to

SF_DUAL_FLASH claims to enable support for SF_DUAL_STACKED_FLASH and
SF_DUAL_PARALLEL_FLASH. But, in current U-Boot code, grepping for above
enums yield no user and therefore support seems to be incomplete. Remove

Enable ISSI flash for platforms. Xilinx reference boards are also used
internally with different flash part to increase coverage that's why
enable also ISSI parts for all these boards even if that board is

CONFIG_MP was added to Kconfig with enabling CONFIG_DEFINE_TCM_OCM_MMAP=y
for zynqmp boards. This option is enabled by default that's why it

Separate CMD_FASTBOOT from FASTBOOT and move code and configuration to
drivers/fastboot.Switch dependencies on FASTBOOT to USB_FUNCTION_FASTBOOT as anyone who wants
FASTBOOT before this series wants USB_FUNCTION_FASTBOOT. Split
USB_FUNCTION_FASTBOOT from FASTBOOT so they retain their existing

We enabled CONFIG_ISO_PARTITION by default for distro boot, so that U-Boot
could load distro images that usually get shipped as iso images. These images
usually come with a board agnostic boot environment.However, there is very little point in having ISO support enabled (for anyone
really) in SPL, as the whole idea of SPL is to load U-Boot proper which again
is board specific. So the fact that we enable ISO support in U-Boot proper does
not mean at all that we want ISO support in U-Boot SPL.Hence, let's remove the Kconfig dependency. Along the way, let's also clean up

U-Boot is now able to boot to ARM Trusted Firmware (ATF). The boot
flow is SPL(EL3) loads ATF and full u-boot and jump to ATF(EL3) which
pass control to full u-boot(EL2). This has been tested on zcu106, so
enable it in this defconfig.To generate an image that triggers this booting flow, you need to pass

Dont use 4K sector erase by default, Disabling this
would use 64K sector erase and decreases erase time.
Also disabled by the fact that UBIFS and JFFS2 won't work

This was caused by: "fs/fat: Reduce stack usage"
(sha1:2460098cffacd18729262e3ed36656e6943783ed) which converted
fat code to use malloc. But simple malloc is not freeing space
that's why full malloc implementation is needed.
