  • This header was renamed to rawnand.h in Linux.

The following is the corresponding commit in Linux.

mtd: nand: Rename nand.h into rawnand.h

We are planning to share more code between different NAND based
devices (SPI NAND, OneNAND and raw NANDs), but before doing that
we need to move the existing include/linux/mtd/nand.h file into
include/linux/mtd/rawnand.h so we can later create a nand.h header
containing all common structure and function prototypes.

  • nand_info[] is now an array of pointers, with the actual mtd_info
    instance embedded in struct nand_chip.

This is in preparation for syncing the NAND code with Linux 4.6,
which makes the same change to struct nand_chip. It's in a separate
commit due to the large amount of changes required to accommodate the
    change to nand_info[].

  • Supports boot up from NAND flash with software ECC eanbled.
And supports boot up from SD/MMC card with FAT file system.

As the boot from SD/MMC card with FAT file system, the BSS
segment is too big to fit into SRAM, so, use the lds to put
    it into SDRAM.

  • Also we enable the mmc command in configuration file.

As both CONFIG_CMD_MMC and CONFIG_CMD_USB use the CONFIG_DOS_PARTITION,
so remove the redundant CONFIG_DOS_PARTITION definition.

  • A lot of at91 boards have the console_init_f in board_init. This is useless
cause it was called before by generic code in lib/board.c.

  • Add USB OHCI support for at91sam9g45ekes/at91sam9m10g45ek boards.

Note that according to errata from Atmel, OHCI is not operational
on the first revision of at91sam9g45 chip. So this patch enables
    OHCI support for later revisions.

  • AT91sam9g45 series is an ARM 926ej-s SOC family clocked at 400/133MHz.
It embeds USB high speed host and device, LCD, DDR2 RAM, and a full set of
    peripherals.

The first board that embeds at91sam9g45 chip is the AT91SAM9G45-EKES.
On the board you can find 2 USART, USB high speed,
    a 480*272 LG lcd, ethernet, gpio/joystick/buttons.
